Britains Got Talent

May 27th, 2008

Since my appearance on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ I find it strange that I am now recognised wherever I go. People come up to me in the street and ask for my autograph. On one occasion I was surrounded by lots of kids, mostly young girls, who wanted to take photos of me with their mobile cameras. Some people recognised me in London yesterday. When we went into a shoe shop one of the assistants asked me if I was an actor on the Disney Channel. When I explained that she must have seen me on BGT she asked me to sign my autograph on one of the shop’s price tickets and then I had to meet the rest of the staff. It was strange but very enjoyable.

I still have to go to school of course, but my teachers and school friends have been very supportive. They don’t treat me any different now than they did before. If I get to perform in the semi finals I know I’ll be a little nervous, but I’ll do my very best to try and reach the final. There is a tour in June for the finalists. They will be performing in big arenas around the country, and especially in Birmingham at the NIA. I would love to sing there. Hopefully next time I write will be to say that I’m in the semi final. Now that would be something to write about!
